OUR PAINTER SAID: "ELEVEN-ISH"

Our painter-guy
    simply said:
       "I'll arrive to paint
          eleven-ISH."

it was now eleven
    thirty-five-ISH,
      and he
         hadn't shown.

We had even looked for him
        possibly
   at ten thirty-five-ISH.

Problem with the "ISH"
            is
On which side of eleven
     does the "ISH" apply?

Or does the "ISH"
     mean "MAYBE,"

maybe.
