This beautiful, peaceful, quiet Sundaymorning with the sun barelyup, and the light still sparseI was sitting at my writing place, andas oft is the case...lookingout at the rising dawnWanting to do a bit of writing...WHEN, "BONK--THUMP"A white-wing dove big as abantam rooster landedright on the window barnext to the grain...O he was a work of art--- gray,with black-feather accents,and neat white-stripsof feathers...and he wasso smooth, along thehead and neck, as ifcoiffed for Sunday-go-to-meetin'...(How can you describe a creationlike this without saying "feathers"over and over?)Did the Heavenly Father just in onemoment say: "Let there be adove!" or...Were the "Days" of creation actuallyeons-long and much intricateplanning went on...to provide Manall the "beauties of the Earth?""peck...thump...peck...thump..."the beautiful bird had turned......and WAS "MOONING" ME!Shamelessly...I grabbed my camera...and I hadmy Sunday "poem..."And I had never realized...the beauty... of adove's bottom.************MIL23 JULY 17
