"LOOKING OVER THE SEA OF LIFE"

Ah, a poetic metaphor

    to warm our hearts

Two sweet little innocent 

    girls

in the morning of their 

    days

Standing and looking out

   as if

across the Sea of Life

    at Dawn

Wondering, thinking, maybe

    an eagerness arising

But also tentatively, feet

    barely wet

Yet knowing it's not quite

    time

For the Big Journey

They sense...more growin'

   and learnin'

        is comin'

But this grand thing

    called Life

Is already 

    a wonderful thing...

O that the Creator

   will hover over them

        live in their hearts

            protect them

and keep them, always, 

    in the hollow 

        of His Hand

over their Sea of Life.

    Amen.
